TWO-YEAR COMMERCIAL LIMITED WARRANTY

Last Updated: September 12, 2026

HotBell Two-Year Commercial Limited Warranty

This Commercial Limited Warranty applies to eligible new HotBell-branded products purchased directly from HotBell LLC ("HotBell") by the original approved Business Buyer through www.hotbell.shop, an accepted HotBell quotation or invoice, or another eligible direct HotBell commercial sales channel.

This warranty applies to products acquired primarily for:

  • Resale;
  • Commercial deployment;
  • Business operations;
  • Installation;
  • Integration;
  • Government use;
  • Educational use;
  • Institutional use; or
  • Other non-household purposes.

This Commercial Limited Warranty does not replace the HotBell One-Year Limited Retail Warranty applicable to qualifying consumer transactions.

1. Warranty Period

Unless a:

  • Product-specific written warranty;
  • Accepted quotation;
  • Invoice;
  • Order acknowledgment; or
  • Signed agreement

states otherwise, eligible new HotBell-branded products purchased directly by the original approved Business Buyer include a:

TWO-YEAR COMMERCIAL LIMITED WARRANTY

The warranty period begins on the date of delivery to the original Business Buyer.

2. Eligible Business Buyer

This warranty applies to the original Business Buyer purchasing directly from HotBell.

This Commercial Limited Warranty is non-transferable unless:

  • HotBell expressly agrees otherwise in writing; or
  • Applicable law requires otherwise.

A downstream customer purchasing from an independent reseller is not automatically the holder of this Commercial Limited Warranty.

3. What This Warranty Covers

During the applicable warranty period, HotBell warrants that eligible products will be free from qualifying defects in materials and workmanship under normal commercial use consistent with:

  • Published product specifications;
  • Product instructions;
  • Compatibility requirements;
  • Environmental requirements;
  • Installation requirements;
  • Operating requirements; and
  • Applicable safety requirements.

4. What This Warranty Does Not Cover

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, this Commercial Limited Warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by:

  • Misuse;
  • Abuse;
  • Neglect;
  • Accident;
  • Physical damage;
  • Liquid exposure;
  • Fire;
  • Improper voltage;
  • Power surge;
  • Unsupported power supply;
  • Improper installation;
  • Incompatible hardware;
  • Unsupported configuration;
  • Operation outside published specifications;
  • Inadequate cooling;
  • Improper storage;
  • Unauthorized modification;
  • Improper repair;
  • Unauthorized firmware changes;
  • Shipping damage occurring after risk of loss transfers;
  • Failure to follow product instructions;
  • Failure to maintain required operating conditions;
  • Normal wear;
  • Cosmetic deterioration that does not materially affect normal operation; or
  • Any condition not resulting from a qualifying defect in materials or workmanship.

5. Business Buyer Responsibilities

The Business Buyer is responsible for:

  • Confirming product suitability before purchase;
  • Reviewing product specifications;
  • Proper installation;
  • Proper integration;
  • Appropriate storage;
  • Appropriate electrical supply;
  • Appropriate cooling;
  • Maintaining operating conditions;
  • Safeguarding serial numbers;
  • Maintaining reasonable purchase records; and
  • Communicating applicable product-safety information to downstream parties where required.

6. How to Make a Commercial Warranty Claim

Contact HotBell:

Email: service@hotbell.store
Phone: +1 (208) 403-6070

Provide, as applicable:

  • Business name;
  • Account information;
  • Order or invoice number;
  • Product name;
  • Model;
  • Quantity affected;
  • Serial number;
  • Delivery date;
  • Date the issue was discovered;
  • Description of the issue;
  • Troubleshooting already performed;
  • Relevant installation or system information; and
  • Reasonable photographs, video, or diagnostic information.

7. Troubleshooting

HotBell may require reasonable remote troubleshooting before authorizing a return.

The Business Buyer must not:

  • Perform unsafe testing; or
  • Continue operating a product where continued use may create a safety hazard or additional damage.

8. RMA Requirement

Products must not be returned until HotBell issues an applicable RMA and written return instructions.

The RMA applies only to the:

  • Product;
  • Quantity;
  • Serial number;
  • Condition;
  • Issue; and
  • Return period

identified in the authorization.

An RMA authorizes evaluation.

It does not itself constitute warranty approval.

9. Inspection and Evaluation

HotBell may:

  • Inspect;
  • Test;
  • Photograph;
  • Diagnose;
  • Document; and
  • Evaluate

returned merchandise.

HotBell may compare the product against:

  • Purchase records;
  • Payment records;
  • Serial-number records;
  • Product specifications;
  • Installation information;
  • Troubleshooting information;
  • Photographs;
  • Video;
  • Diagnostic data; and
  • Applicable transaction documents.

10. Commercial Warranty Remedies

For an approved covered claim, HotBell will, at its reasonable option and subject to applicable law:

  1. Repair the affected product;
  2. Replace the affected product with the same product;
  3. Replace it with a substantially equivalent product;
  4. Issue an agreed account credit; or
  5. Refund the net purchase price paid to HotBell for the affected product.

Replacement merchandise may be:

  • New; or
  • Professionally refurbished,

unless applicable written transaction terms or applicable law require otherwise.

11. Freight and Shipping

Return freight, insurance, secure packaging, customs, brokerage, and related expenses are governed by the applicable:

  1. Product-specific warranty;
  2. RMA authorization;
  3. Accepted quotation;
  4. Invoice;
  5. Order acknowledgment; or
  6. Signed agreement.

Unless HotBell agrees otherwise in writing, the Business Buyer is responsible for:

  • Return freight;
  • Shipping insurance;
  • Secure packaging;
  • Customs documentation;
  • Duties;
  • Tariffs;
  • Brokerage; and
  • Related transportation expenses.

Freight-collect and COD returns will not be accepted unless HotBell authorizes them in writing.

12. Replacement Warranty Period

A repaired or replacement product remains covered for the remainder of the original Commercial Limited Warranty period unless HotBell provides different written terms.

13. Third-Party Products

Third-party branded merchandise is subject to the applicable manufacturer's commercial warranty, if any, unless HotBell expressly provides a separate written warranty.

HotBell does not assume a third-party manufacturer's warranty obligations merely by reselling that manufacturer's product unless HotBell expressly agrees otherwise in writing.

14. Resale and Downstream Customers

A Business Buyer that resells, distributes, installs, or integrates products is responsible for its own:

  • Product listings;
  • Advertising;
  • Customer-facing terms;
  • Return policies;
  • Refund obligations;
  • Warranty disclosures;
  • Customer support;
  • Installation obligations;
  • Sales-tax obligations; and
  • Other downstream legal requirements.

A Business Buyer may not represent that HotBell provides a:

  • Warranty;
  • Certification;
  • Compatibility guarantee;
  • Performance guarantee;
  • Service level; or
  • Other commitment

beyond HotBell's applicable written terms.

15. Product Modifications and Third-Party Repairs

A third-party repair, component, or service does not automatically establish that a product is excluded from warranty coverage.

However, Commercial Warranty coverage may be denied to the extent HotBell reasonably determines that the claimed defect or damage resulted from:

  • Unauthorized modification;
  • Improper repair;
  • Third-party component;
  • Unauthorized firmware;
  • Improper installation; or
  • Other Business Buyer or third-party conduct.

16. Data and Software

Business Buyers are responsible for backing up and securing business data before submitting equipment for warranty service.

Warranty service may result in loss of:

  • Data;
  • Software;
  • Credentials;
  • Configurations;
  • Encryption keys;
  • Licenses; or
  • Business records.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, HotBell is not responsible for restoring such information.

17. Disclaimer of Other Commercial Warranties

EXCEPT FOR THIS EXPRESS COMMERCIAL LIMITED WARRANTY OR ANOTHER EXPRESS WARRANTY PROVIDED BY HOTBELL IN WRITING, AND TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PRODUCTS AND COMMERCIAL SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE."

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, HOTBELL DISCLAIMS OTHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED COMMERCIAL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF:

  • MERCHANTABILITY;
  • FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE;
  • NON-INFRINGEMENT;
  • COURSE OF DEALING;
  • COURSE OF PERFORMANCE; AND
  • USAGE OF TRADE.

This disclaimer does not cancel this express Commercial Limited Warranty.

This disclaimer does not apply where applicable law prohibits the disclaimer.

18. Limitation of Commercial Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, HOTBELL WILL NOT BE LIABLE UNDER THIS COMMERCIAL LIMITED WARRANTY FOR:

  • LOST PROFITS;
  • LOST REVENUE;
  • BUSINESS INTERRUPTION;
  • DOWNTIME;
  • LOSS OF DATA;
  • LOSS OF GOODWILL;
  • LOSS OF BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY;
  • INDIRECT DAMAGES;
  • INCIDENTAL DAMAGES;
  • CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES;
  • SPECIAL DAMAGES;
  • EXEMPLARY DAMAGES; OR
  • PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, HOTBELL'S AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO A PRODUCT UNDER THIS COMMERCIAL LIMITED WARRANTY WILL NOT EXCEED THE NET AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID TO HOTBELL FOR THE SPECIFIC PRODUCT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

These limitations do not apply to liability that applicable law does not permit HotBell to exclude or limit.

19. Product Safety and Recalls

Nothing in this Commercial Limited Warranty limits any mandatory:

  • Product recall;
  • Stop-use notice;
  • Safety correction;
  • Regulatory remedy;
  • Repair program;
  • Replacement program; or
  • Product-safety obligation.

Business Buyers reselling or deploying affected products must reasonably cooperate with applicable legally required safety or recall actions.

20. Controlling Documents

Where terms conflict, the following order generally applies unless an authorized HotBell representative expressly agrees otherwise in writing:

  1. Signed written agreement;
  2. HotBell-issued order acknowledgment or accepted quotation;
  3. Product-specific written warranty;
  4. HotBell invoice;
  5. This Commercial Limited Warranty;
  6. HotBell Returns & Refunds Policy;
  7. HotBell Shipping Policy;
  8. HotBell Terms & Conditions; and
  9. Applicable product information.

Nothing in this section overrides a nonwaivable legal requirement.

21. Governing Law and Disputes

This Commercial Limited Warranty is governed by the laws of the State of Idaho and applicable federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Applicable dispute-resolution provisions contained in a validly accepted:

  • Business Buyer agreement;
  • Quotation;
  • Order acknowledgment; or
  • HotBell Terms & Conditions

remain applicable.

22. Warranty Changes

HotBell may update this Commercial Limited Warranty prospectively.

The warranty applicable when the relevant product is purchased governs that product unless:

  • A valid written agreement modifies the warranty; or
  • Applicable law requires otherwise.
