SHIPPING POLICY

Last Updated: September 12, 2026

This Shipping Policy applies to products purchased directly from HotBell LLC ("HotBell," "we," "our," or "us") through www.hotbell.shop, an accepted HotBell quotation or invoice, or another direct HotBell sales channel.

HotBell serves both individual Retail Customers and Business Buyers.

Different shipping, inspection, title, and risk-of-loss rules may apply depending on the nature of the transaction.

1. Order Processing

Most in-stock direct retail orders are processed for shipment within one to two business days after HotBell receives:

  • Successful payment authorization;
  • Complete billing and shipping information; and
  • Any reasonable verification required for fraud prevention, address confirmation, product restrictions, tax review, export review, sanctions screening, or other legal compliance.

For purposes of this policy, business days are Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays and days when the applicable HotBell warehouse or carrier is closed.

Processing time is the period before an order is transferred to a carrier.

Processing time is separate from carrier transit and delivery time.

Orders submitted during weekends, holidays, or warehouse closure periods generally begin processing on the next applicable business day.

Additional processing time may apply to:

  • Preorders;
  • Backorders;
  • Special-order products;
  • Custom-configured products;
  • Large-quantity orders;
  • Pallet shipments;
  • Freight shipments;
  • Products stored at another disclosed fulfillment location;
  • Payment-review orders;
  • Address-verification orders;
  • Fraud-review orders;
  • Tax-review orders;
  • Export-review orders; or
  • Orders awaiting purchaser information.

Business and wholesale processing times may be governed by an applicable quotation, invoice, order acknowledgment, or signed agreement.

2. Shipping Origin

Unless otherwise disclosed, eligible HotBell-stocked merchandise ships from HotBell inventory in Pocatello, Idaho.

Statements such as:

  • "U.S. Stock";
  • "Ships from Idaho";
  • "Ready to Ship"; or
  • Similar descriptions

apply only where supported by current product, inventory, and fulfillment records.

A product may ship from another authorized inventory, manufacturer, distributor, or fulfillment location where applicable.

3. Shipping Destinations, Methods, Rates, and Estimates

Available:

  • Shipping destinations;
  • Carriers;
  • Service levels;
  • Shipping charges; and
  • Estimated delivery dates

are displayed at checkout for eligible direct online orders.

Availability may depend on:

  • Product;
  • Quantity;
  • Package dimensions;
  • Weight;
  • Destination;
  • Carrier coverage; and
  • Applicable restrictions.

Shipping charges may be calculated using:

  • Product;
  • Package weight;
  • Package dimensions;
  • Destination;
  • Service level; and
  • Carrier rates.

Free-shipping offers apply only where expressly displayed and remain subject to stated eligibility requirements.

Carrier transit and delivery estimates begin after the carrier accepts the shipment.

They do not include HotBell's processing period.

Expedited shipping, signature service, insurance, liftgate service, inside delivery, appointment delivery, or another special service is available only where displayed at checkout or confirmed in writing.

4. Tracking and Shipment Notifications

Where tracking is available, HotBell will provide tracking information after shipment.

Orders containing multiple packages may have multiple tracking numbers.

Tracking information may take time to become active.

Creation of a shipping label does not necessarily mean the carrier has already taken possession of the package.

Purchasers should monitor available tracking information and make reasonable arrangements to receive deliveries.

5. Address Accuracy and Delivery Instructions

Purchasers must provide accurate:

  • Recipient name;
  • Shipping address;
  • Billing address where required;
  • Email address;
  • Telephone number; and
  • Delivery, access, customs, or receiving information required for the applicable shipment.

Contact HotBell as soon as possible if a correction is required.

HotBell cannot guarantee that a shipping address, carrier, service level, or delivery instruction can be changed after fulfillment begins.

To the extent permitted by law, purchasers may be responsible for reasonable additional charges resulting from:

  • Incorrect addresses;
  • Incomplete addresses;
  • Purchaser-requested rerouting;
  • Refused delivery;
  • Missed delivery appointments;
  • Failure to collect merchandise;
  • Storage;
  • Return to sender; or
  • Redelivery,

except where the problem resulted from HotBell's error.

6. Retail Delivery, Title, and Risk of Loss

For a direct Retail Customer purchase, risk of loss generally transfers when the product is delivered to the shipping address or recipient designated in the order, except where applicable law requires a different result.

Title transfers upon delivery and full payment, whichever occurs later.

HotBell remains responsible for providing any remedy required by applicable law where a direct retail order:

  • Is lost before delivery;
  • Is damaged before delivery;
  • Contains the wrong product; or
  • Contains the wrong quantity.

A Retail Customer is not required to pursue a carrier claim as a substitute for a remedy HotBell is legally required to provide.

HotBell may request reasonable cooperation and documentation for a carrier investigation.

7. Business and Wholesale Shipping Terms

Unless an accepted quotation, invoice, order acknowledgment, or signed agreement states otherwise, shipments to Business Buyers are:

FOB Origin — Pocatello, Idaho

For FOB Origin shipments, risk of loss transfers to the Business Buyer when HotBell delivers the shipment to the carrier at the shipping origin, even where HotBell:

  • Selects the carrier;
  • Arranges transportation;
  • Prepays freight;
  • Adds freight to the invoice;
  • Uses a HotBell carrier account; or
  • Assists with tracking or documentation.

After risk transfers, the Business Buyer bears applicable transportation risk, subject to:

  • Applicable law;
  • Carrier terms; and
  • Purchased insurance.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Business Buyers are responsible for applicable:

  • Freight;
  • Insurance;
  • Handling;
  • Liftgate charges;
  • Inside delivery charges;
  • Limited-access charges;
  • Storage;
  • Redelivery;
  • Address correction;
  • Customs;
  • Duties;
  • Tariffs;
  • Brokerage; and
  • Related transportation charges.

Title and risk of loss are separate.

8. Delays, Backorders, and Preorders

HotBell will maintain a reasonable basis for any advertised or stated shipment time.

For an order subject to the Federal Trade Commission's Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule, if HotBell cannot ship within the promised time—or within 30 days after receipt of a properly completed order where no shipment time was stated—HotBell will provide the delay notice, consent opportunity, cancellation right, and refund required by applicable law.

HotBell will not treat silence as consent where affirmative consent is required by law.

A:

  • Preorder;
  • Backorder;
  • Made-to-order product;
  • Special order; or
  • Product with an extended lead time

may have a different estimated shipping period disclosed before purchase.

Any refund required because HotBell cancels or cannot timely ship an unshipped order will be issued within the period required by applicable law.

General post-return refund-processing periods do not extend a shorter legally required refund period.

Business and wholesale delays may be governed by the applicable quotation, invoice, order acknowledgment, signed agreement, and applicable law.

9. Lost, Damaged, Incorrect, or Incomplete Retail Orders

Inspect direct retail orders promptly after delivery.

Contact HotBell as soon as reasonably possible if:

  • Tracking does not show expected delivery;
  • A product arrives damaged;
  • The wrong product arrives;
  • The wrong quantity arrives;
  • A product is missing;
  • An included accessory is missing; or
  • Packaging appears materially compromised.

For visible transit damage or delivery discrepancies, contact HotBell preferably within five calendar days after delivery so packaging and carrier evidence can be preserved.

Failure to report within five days does not eliminate:

  • A valid latent-defect claim; or
  • A right that applicable law does not permit HotBell to limit.

Retain:

  • Product;
  • Shipping carton;
  • Product packaging;
  • Shipping label;
  • Packing slip;
  • Photographs;
  • Video; and
  • Delivery information

until HotBell provides instructions.

10. Packages Marked Delivered but Not Located

Where carrier tracking shows a package as delivered but it cannot be located, promptly:

  • Verify the address in the order confirmation;
  • Inspect the delivery area;
  • Check with household members;
  • Check building personnel or reception;
  • Check mailrooms or parcel lockers;
  • Check immediate neighbors where appropriate;
  • Review carrier delivery details; and
  • Contact HotBell and the carrier.

HotBell may request reasonable documentation necessary to investigate the claim.

HotBell will provide any remedy required by applicable law.

HotBell does not guarantee replacement or refund where reliable evidence shows correct delivery to the designated address and the loss occurred after delivery, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

11. Business Inspection and Freight Claims

Business Buyers must promptly inspect each shipment.

Visible:

  • Freight damage;
  • Shortages;
  • Incorrect products;
  • Quantity discrepancies; or
  • Other reasonably discoverable delivery issues

must be reported to HotBell in writing within five business days after delivery.

Business Buyers should retain:

  • Shipping cartons;
  • Product packaging;
  • Pallets;
  • Protective materials;
  • Shipping labels;
  • Packing slips;
  • Bills of lading;
  • Delivery receipts;
  • Photographs;
  • Video;
  • Serial-number records; and
  • Carrier communications.

Failure to provide timely notice may constitute acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.

The five-business-day period does not apply to a latent defect that could not reasonably have been discovered during initial inspection.

For an FOB Origin shipment, the Business Buyer is responsible for pursuing applicable carrier or insurance claims after risk of loss transfers.

HotBell may provide reasonable documentation or assistance as a commercial courtesy.

12. Split and Partial Shipments

HotBell may divide an order into multiple shipments because of:

  • Product availability;
  • Inventory location;
  • Product size;
  • Quantity;
  • Carrier requirements;
  • Shipping restrictions; or
  • Operational considerations.

Retail Customers will not be charged an undisclosed additional shipping fee solely because HotBell elects to split an order.

Additional Business Buyer freight or handling charges apply only where permitted by the applicable written commercial terms.

13. International Shipping

International shipping is available only where:

  • The destination is accepted at checkout; or
  • HotBell expressly approves the transaction in writing.

Unless HotBell agrees otherwise in writing, international purchasers are responsible for:

  • Confirming import eligibility;
  • Providing customs information;
  • Acting as importer of record where applicable;
  • Import permits;
  • Destination-country compliance;
  • Duties;
  • Taxes;
  • Tariffs;
  • Brokerage;
  • Customs fees;
  • Inspection charges; and
  • Storage charges.

International delivery estimates do not include customs or governmental delays.

HotBell may refuse, suspend, or cancel a transaction presenting a genuine export, sanctions, customs, fraud, product-safety, or legal concern.

14. Shipping Restrictions

Some products may be subject to:

  • Carrier restrictions;
  • Battery restrictions;
  • Hazardous-material restrictions;
  • Destination restrictions;
  • Size restrictions;
  • Weight restrictions;
  • Value restrictions;
  • Signature requirements;
  • Export restrictions; or
  • Other legal restrictions.

HotBell may require:

  • Signature confirmation;
  • Delivery appointment;
  • Identity verification; or
  • Another reasonable security measure.

HotBell may refuse or cancel a shipment to an unsupported address, prohibited destination, restricted party, or unlawful end use.

15. Order Changes, Holds, and Cancellations

Contact HotBell as soon as possible to request:

  • Address changes;
  • Shipping holds;
  • Carrier changes;
  • Service-level changes; or
  • Order cancellations.

HotBell will attempt to accommodate the request if the order has not:

  • Entered fulfillment;
  • Been specially ordered;
  • Been allocated;
  • Been packed; or
  • Been transferred to a carrier.

A change or cancellation is not effective until HotBell confirms it.

If a retail order has already shipped, the Retail Customer may use the applicable Returns & Refunds Policy after delivery.

16. Returns and Return Shipping

Returns, refunds, warranty claims, and RMA procedures are governed by HotBell's:

  • Returns & Refunds Policy;
  • Limited Retail Warranty;
  • Commercial Limited Warranty; and
  • Applicable written transaction documents.

Do not send merchandise back before receiving applicable written return instructions and an RMA.

For preference-based retail returns, the Retail Customer is responsible for return-shipping costs.

For a confirmed HotBell shipping error, product received damaged, or valid covered retail warranty claim, HotBell will provide reasonable authorized return-shipping instructions and cover authorized return-shipping costs.

17. Events Beyond Reasonable Control

Shipment or delivery may be affected by:

  • Carrier failure;
  • Labor disputes;
  • Port congestion;
  • Customs action;
  • Government action;
  • Product shortages;
  • Supplier disruption;
  • Natural disasters;
  • Severe weather;
  • Fire;
  • Flood;
  • Epidemics;
  • War;
  • Terrorism;
  • Civil disturbance;
  • Cyberattack;
  • Utility failure;
  • System outage; or
  • Other circumstances beyond HotBell's reasonable control.

HotBell will use reasonable efforts to communicate material delays.

This section does not eliminate Retail Customer cancellation, refund, product-safety, or other rights that applicable law does not permit HotBell to limit.

18. Changes and Policy Conflicts

If this Shipping Policy conflicts with a more specific:

  • Checkout disclosure;
  • Product-specific disclosure;
  • Accepted quotation;
  • Invoice;
  • Order acknowledgment; or
  • Signed agreement,

the more specific applicable term controls to the extent permitted by law.

HotBell may update this Shipping Policy prospectively.

The version in effect when an order is submitted generally applies to that order.
