1. SCOPE AND SEPARATE NOTICES

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information that identifies, relates to, describes, or can reasonably be linked to an individual.

Business contact information may constitute personal information even when provided in connection with a commercial purchase or business account.

A separate privacy notice may apply to employment information, a separately operated business, a particular product application, or another activity subject to a more specific privacy notice.

Where a specific notice supplements this Privacy Policy, the more specific notice governs the processing it describes, subject to applicable law.

Independent marketplaces, payment companies, carriers, social-media platforms, telecommunications providers, and external websites may maintain their own privacy practices.

This Privacy Policy governs personal information HotBell receives and controls. Independent third parties remain responsible for their own processing under their applicable privacy notices.

A link to or interaction with another service does not authorize that service to use HotBell SMS consent information for its own marketing or promotional purposes.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND SOURCES

Payment providers may provide transaction references, payment tokens, masked payment information, payment status, and related transaction information.

Use HotBell's designated payment interface for payment credentials.

Do not send complete payment-card numbers, banking passwords, authentication codes, or similar financial credentials by ordinary email or SMS.

For business accounts, HotBell may verify information using documentation provided by the business and legitimate business records.

If you provide another person's personal information, you must have appropriate authority to do so and provide any legally required notice.

Providing another person's telephone number does not establish that person's consent to receive recurring SMS messages.

Website Information

When a device connects to hotbell.shop, HotBell and its website systems may receive technical information such as:

- IP address;

- Browser information;

- Device characteristics;

- Operating system;

- Request timestamps;

- Requested pages;

- Referring information;

- Error information; and

- Security events.

Cookies, local storage, logs, and similar technologies may support:

- Shopping-cart functions;

- Login;

- Checkout;

- Preferences;

- Security;

- Fraud prevention;

- Analytics; and

- Other website functions.

Additional analytics, advertising, or similar technologies are addressed in Section 5.

Technical notifications may identify a monitored system, technical event, and authorized contact.

Messages should contain only the operational information reasonably necessary to direct attention to the relevant technical condition.

Sensitive Information

Certain information, including account credentials, financial information, or information contained in verification documentation, may receive additional legal protection.

HotBell restricts use of such information to appropriate purposes such as:

- Transaction processing;

- Authentication;

- Fraud prevention;

- Security;

- Verification;

- Support; or

- Compliance with law.

Do not submit government identification numbers, medical information, biometric information, precise location information, financial credentials, or other highly sensitive information unless HotBell specifically requests it through an appropriate process.

3. PURPOSES FOR PROCESSING

HotBell may process personal information to:

- Operate and maintain hotbell.shop;

- Provide website and account functionality;

- Accept and fulfill orders;

- Process payments;

- Process refunds;

- Arrange shipping and delivery;

- Administer business and wholesale purchasing;

- Evaluate wholesale requests;

- Provide customer support;

- Process RMA requests;

- Prevent fraud and misuse;

- Protect HotBell systems;

- Resolve payment disputes;

- Maintain accounting and transaction records;

- Address product-safety matters;

- Improve website performance and customer experience; and

- Comply with applicable law.

HotBell Server Alerts

HotBell may use enrollment, messaging, and delivery information to:

- Send authorized technical and operational notifications;

- Administer enrollment;

- Maintain consent records;

- Send enrollment confirmations;

- Process STOP requests;

- Process HELP requests;

- Maintain suppression records;

- Investigate delivery problems;

- Provide messaging support; and

- Demonstrate consent.

Enrollment in HotBell Server Alerts does not authorize advertising messages or enrollment in another business's messaging program.

Email Marketing

Where permitted by law and consistent with your choices, HotBell may send promotional email.

You may unsubscribe from promotional email using the unsubscribe mechanism in the message or by contacting HotBell.

Necessary order, account, security, warranty, support, or other transactional communications may continue after you unsubscribe from promotional email.

HotBell does not treat an email subscription, website account, employment relationship, business relationship, or purchase as consent to recurring SMS messages.

Aggregated and Deidentified Information

HotBell may use appropriately aggregated or deidentified information for legitimate business analysis.

Where applicable law requires information to remain deidentified, HotBell will not attempt to reidentify an individual except where legally permitted for purposes such as testing the effectiveness of the deidentification process.

4. RECIPIENTS AND DISCLOSURE LIMITS

Operational Service Providers

HotBell may disclose information reasonably necessary to providers supporting:

- Website hosting;

- Payment processing;

- Shipping and fulfillment;

- Communications;

- Technical support;

- Customer service;

- Security;

- Fraud prevention; and

- Business administration.

Provider access should be appropriate to the provider's function and subject to applicable contractual, security, and legal restrictions.

For example, a carrier may require delivery information and a payment provider may require payment-related information.

Neither requires unrelated SMS consent information merely to perform those unrelated services.

Authorized Business Representatives

HotBell may provide order, purchasing, invoice, or account information to an authorized representative or administrator of the applicable business account.

HotBell does not treat shared ownership, a shared office, a personal relationship, or use of a related trade name as unrestricted authorization to access another person's information.

Legal and Protective Disclosures

HotBell may disclose information where legally required or where applicable law permits a disclosure reasonably necessary to address:

- Fraud;

- Security incidents;

- Threats to safety;

- Product-safety matters;

- Legal claims; or

- Protection of lawful rights.

These purposes do not authorize marketing use of SMS consent information.

Business Transactions

A legitimate merger, financing, restructuring, acquisition, sale, or other business transaction may involve disclosure of relevant business records subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal safeguards.

A business transaction does not automatically authorize a different brand or materially different messaging program to use existing SMS consent.

SMS enrollment information is not a transferable marketing list.

Public Submissions

Reviews and other information intentionally submitted for public display may be visible to other users.

Do not include private account, payment, order, or contact information in public content.

HotBell does not publish private support correspondence as a testimonial without appropriate authorization.

5. COOKIES, ANALYTICS, AND ADVERTISING

HotBell.shop uses cookies, local storage, server logs, and similar technologies to support the operation, security, and functionality of the website.

These technologies may support:

- User sessions;

- Authentication;

- Shopping-cart functions;

- Checkout;

- Privacy preferences;

- Fraud prevention;

- Website security; and

- Other requested website features.

Some technologies are necessary for hotbell.shop to operate properly.

You may be able to delete, restrict, or block cookies through your browser settings.

Disabling certain necessary technologies may cause login, shopping-cart, checkout, form, preference, or other website functions to operate incorrectly or become unavailable.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

A browser's general "Do Not Track" setting is different from a legally recognized opt-out preference signal.

Where applicable law requires HotBell to recognize and process a valid browser-based opt-out preference signal, including Global Privacy Control ("GPC"), HotBell will process that signal as required by applicable law.

Analytics and Website Performance

HotBell may use analytics and website-performance technologies provided through its website platform or authorized service providers.

Depending on the technologies actually enabled, these tools may process information such as:

- IP address;

- Browser information;

- Device information;

- Operating system;

- Referring and exit pages;

- Pages viewed;

- General website interactions;

- Date and time;

- Error information;

- Performance information; and

- Approximate location derived from an IP address.

HotBell may use this information to:

- Operate hotbell.shop;

- Maintain hotbell.shop;

- Identify technical problems;

- Detect security risks;

- Understand overall website usage;

- Understand product-page usage;

- Improve website navigation;

- Improve website content;

- Improve customer experience;

- Evaluate website performance; and

- Measure the general effectiveness of marketing or communications.

Where applicable law requires consent before nonessential analytics technologies are activated, HotBell will obtain the required consent.

Advertising, Attribution, and Similar Technologies

HotBell may use advertising, attribution, remarketing, or similar technologies when enabled.

If HotBell enables a technology that discloses personal information to another party for that party's own advertising purposes, cross-context behavioral advertising, targeted advertising, or another independent purpose, HotBell will provide the disclosures, consent mechanisms, and opt-out rights required by applicable law.

A technology provider is not automatically treated as a restricted service provider, contractor, or processor merely because it supplies software to HotBell.

The provider's legal role depends on actual data use, applicable contractual restrictions, and applicable law.

Where required, HotBell will obtain consent before activating nonessential advertising or tracking technologies.

Embedded and Third-Party Services

HotBell.shop may contain or link to third-party functionality such as:

- Payment services;

- Video;

- Maps;

- Social-media features;

- Customer-support functions; or

- Other embedded services.

When you interact with a third-party feature, the provider may collect or receive technical information, device information, interaction information, or information you voluntarily provide.

Independent third-party processing is governed by that third party's privacy practices.

Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising

HotBell does not knowingly sell personal information in exchange for money.

Certain advertising, analytics, or similar technologies may constitute a "sale," "sharing," or processing for "targeted advertising" under some U.S. state privacy laws even where no money is exchanged.

Where applicable law provides an opt-out right, HotBell will provide an appropriate method to exercise that right.

Where legally required, HotBell will also process a recognized browser-based opt-out preference signal, including GPC, for the applicable browser or device.

A privacy choice made on one browser or unidentified device may not automatically apply to another browser or device unless HotBell can reasonably and lawfully associate the choice with the same individual or account.

Privacy-choice questions may be submitted to:

Email: Service@HotBell.store

Phone: +1 (208) 403-6070

Children and Advertising Data

HotBell does not knowingly sell or share the personal information of individuals under 16 years of age for cross-context behavioral advertising where applicable law requires affirmative authorization.

Mobile telephone numbers, SMS opt-in information, and SMS consent information remain subject to the additional protections in Section 6 regardless of website cookie, analytics, or advertising settings.

6. MOBILE INFORMATION AND SMS CONSENT PROTECTION

HotBell does not sell, rent, or share mobile information, including mobile telephone numbers and personal information collected for HotBell messaging programs, with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from the general sharing permissions in this Privacy Policy and are not shared with third parties for their independent use.

Only providers acting on HotBell's behalf to transmit, administer, secure, or support the messaging service may process information reasonably necessary for those functions, subject to applicable restrictions.

This may include HotBell's messaging provider, Vonage, and participating telecommunications providers.

Limited disclosures required by law remain possible.

No permitted disclosure authorizes a recipient to use HotBell SMS consent records for its own marketing.

Unrelated businesses, affiliates, or DBAs may not reuse that consent.

Messaging Brand and Operator

HotBell LLC operates HotBell Server Alerts under the messaging brand "HotBell — A Burns & Dingyu Company."

HotBell LLC is the legal entity and program operator.

Enrollment

Enrollment is optional.

HotBell requires a separate affirmative action after the complete program disclosures are presented.

HotBell does not enroll recipients from purchased lists.

HotBell does not treat any of the following as permission to receive recurring SMS messages by itself:

- A purchase;

- A website account;

- An employment relationship;

- A business relationship;

- A customer relationship; or

- Possession of a telephone number.

Message frequency varies.

Message and data rates may apply.

Initial Confirmation

After valid enrollment, HotBell will send an automated enrollment confirmation identifying the messaging brand and HotBell Server Alerts.

The confirmation will briefly identify the technical and operational notifications the recipient may receive, which may include:

- Monitored server or application availability;

- Connectivity failures;

- Service interruptions;

- Service restoration;

- Missing or delayed market-data feed updates;

- Technical data-feed interruptions; and

- Restoration or recovery of monitored connections or data feeds.

The enrollment confirmation will also state that:

- Messages are recurring;

- Message frequency varies;

- Message and data rates may apply;

- Reply HELP for assistance; and

- Reply STOP to unsubscribe.

HELP

Reply HELP for assistance.

When you reply HELP, HotBell will send an automated response identifying the messaging brand and providing support contact information.

Automated HELP responses are available outside staffed support hours.

Human support follows the support hours listed below.

Email: Service@HotBell.store

Phone: +1 (208) 403-6070

STOP and Opt-Out

Reply STOP to unsubscribe from HotBell Server Alerts.

After HotBell receives an effective opt-out request, HotBell will stop future recurring messages as promptly as practicable and within applicable legal requirements.

HotBell will send one nonpromotional automated opt-out confirmation identifying the messaging brand and confirming that the recipient has been unsubscribed from HotBell Server Alerts and will no longer receive recurring messages from that program.

HotBell may retain a limited suppression record reasonably necessary to honor the opt-out.

A HELP request does not renew consent.

A prior consent record does not reactivate a recipient who has opted out.

Re-enrollment requires a supported enrollment process and fresh affirmative consent where required.

SMS Terms

The HotBell SMS Terms are available at:

https://hotbell.shop/policies-terms

7. RETENTION AND DELETION

HotBell retains personal information for the period reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it is processed, considering:

- Customer or account relationships;

- Transaction requirements;

- Warranty obligations;

- Accounting requirements;

- Applicable limitation periods;

- Legal obligations;

- Security needs;

- Fraud-prevention requirements; and

- Outstanding disputes.

HotBell does not retain every record indefinitely merely because storage is available.

Order, payment, and tax records may be retained for accounting, tax, transaction, and legal purposes.

Support and warranty records may be retained while relevant to support obligations, warranty coverage, product safety, and potential claims.

Technical logs may be retained for operational, security, and investigative purposes.

Consent evidence may be retained while relied upon and for an appropriate compliance and claims period afterward.

Suppression records may remain after other information is deleted so an opt-out continues to be honored.

When personal information is no longer reasonably needed, HotBell may delete it, securely dispose of it, or appropriately deidentify it.

Backup copies remain subject to applicable backup and deletion cycles.

A valid preservation requirement may delay ordinary deletion.

8. SECURITY AND COMMUNICATIONS

HotBell uses safeguards reasonably appropriate to the nature of the information and relevant risks, including access restrictions and protection of business systems.

No website, database, email system, SMS service, or electronic transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Electronic messages may be visible on:

- Lock screens;

- Shared devices;

- Carrier systems; or

- Backup services.

Protect account credentials and promptly report suspected unauthorized activity.

Do not send the following through ordinary SMS:

- Passwords;

- Authentication codes;

- Complete payment information;

- Complete financial-account information; or

- Sensitive documents.

Use an authorized secure support method if such information is legitimately required.

If a security incident requires legal notice, HotBell will provide notice as required by applicable law.

9. INTERNATIONAL ACCESS AND PROCESSING

HotBell LLC is based in the United States.

Personal information may be stored, accessed, or processed in the United States and in other countries where authorized HotBell personnel or contracted service providers perform services on HotBell's behalf.

Cross-border processing may occur where authorized personnel access HotBell systems from another country even if the underlying server remains in the United States.

Cross-border processing may also occur where service providers operate, host systems, provide technical support, or process information in multiple countries.

HotBell limits access to personnel and providers with a legitimate business need for information in connection with the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Where appropriate, HotBell uses:

- Access controls;

- Confidentiality obligations;

- Contractual restrictions;

- Security measures; and

- Other safeguards designed to protect personal information.

Authorized HotBell personnel located in China may have limited remote access to customer, support, or operational information when necessary to perform assigned business responsibilities.

Such access remains subject to HotBell's access controls, confidentiality requirements, and the restrictions described in this Privacy Policy.

Privacy and data-protection laws in a country where information is processed may differ from the laws of another jurisdiction.

Where applicable law requires a lawful basis, transfer mechanism, contractual protection, or additional safeguard for an international transfer, HotBell will implement the applicable requirement for the relevant processing.

International access does not authorize personnel, affiliates, providers, or other recipients to use information for purposes inconsistent with this Privacy Policy.

The protections in Section 6 continue to apply to mobile telephone numbers, SMS opt-in information, and SMS consent information regardless of where authorized processing occurs.

International-processing questions may be submitted to:

Email: Service@HotBell.store

Phone: +1 (208) 403-6070

10. PRIVACY REQUESTS AND APPEALS

Depending on your jurisdiction and the laws applicable to HotBell, you may have rights relating to:

- Information concerning recipients;

- Restriction of processing;

- Withdrawal of consent;

Privacy Request Appeal

Identify the decision being challenged.

HotBell will review the appeal and provide any response and further complaint information required by applicable law.

HotBell does not unlawfully discriminate or retaliate against a person for exercising a protected privacy right.

Withdrawal of consent does not invalidate processing that was lawful before the withdrawal.

11. CALIFORNIA AND OTHER REGIONAL PRIVACY REQUIREMENTS

Privacy rights and obligations depend on the jurisdiction, the nature of HotBell's activities, the processing involved, and whether a particular privacy law applies.

California Residents

To the extent the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended ("CCPA"), applies to HotBell and to the personal information at issue, California residents may have applicable rights to:

- Opt out of applicable sale or sharing;

- Limit qualifying uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information; and

HotBell does not knowingly sell personal information in exchange for money.

Certain advertising, analytics, or similar technologies may constitute a "sale" or "sharing" under California law even where no money is exchanged.

If HotBell engages in activity constituting sale or sharing under applicable California law, HotBell will provide the legally required notices and opt-out mechanisms, including recognition of a valid GPC signal where required.

HotBell does not knowingly sell or share the personal information of individuals under 16 in circumstances requiring affirmative authorization under applicable California law.

California privacy requests may be submitted through Section 10.

Other U.S. State Privacy Laws

Residents of other U.S. states may have additional rights where an applicable state privacy law applies to HotBell and the relevant processing.

- Opt-out of targeted advertising;

- Opt-out of sale;

Where an applicable state law recognizes a qualifying browser-based opt-out preference signal, HotBell will process the signal as legally required.

European Economic Area and European Union

If and to the extent the EU General Data Protection Regulation ("EU GDPR") applies to HotBell's processing, HotBell will rely on an applicable lawful basis.

Depending on the activity, that basis may include:

- Performance of a contract;

- Pre-contract steps requested by an individual;

- Compliance with a legal obligation;

- Consent;

- Legitimate interests where legally appropriate; or

- Another lawful basis permitted by applicable law.

Where separate consent is required, HotBell will not treat this Privacy Policy, a purchase, or a general website agreement as a substitute for the required consent.

Where the EU GDPR applies, individuals may have rights concerning:

- Access;

- Correction;

- Erasure;

- Restriction;

- Objection;

- Data portability;

- Withdrawal of consent; and

- Complaint to an applicable supervisory authority.

Those rights remain subject to applicable conditions, exceptions, and limitations.

Where EU law requires safeguards for international transfers, HotBell will implement an applicable lawful mechanism and any additional safeguards required for the relevant transfer.

United Kingdom

If and to the extent the UK GDPR or Data Protection Act 2018 applies, HotBell will rely on an appropriate lawful basis and provide the information required by applicable UK law.

Applicable rights may include:

- Access;

- Rectification;

- Erasure;

- Restriction;

- Objection;

- Portability;

- Withdrawal of consent; and

- Complaint to the UK Information Commissioner's Office or another competent authority.

Where applicable UK law governs a restricted international transfer, HotBell will use an available lawful transfer mechanism.

Other Jurisdictions

Additional privacy laws may apply depending on:

- Individual location;

- Markets served by HotBell;

- Nature and scale of HotBell's activities;

- Types of personal information processed; and

- Applicable products or services.

Where an applicable law provides additional mandatory rights or protections, HotBell will provide them as required.

Nothing in this Privacy Policy is intended to waive or restrict a privacy right that applicable law does not permit HotBell to waive or restrict.

Regional privacy questions may be submitted to:

Email: Service@HotBell.store

Phone: +1 (208) 403-6070

12. CHILDREN AND AUTOMATED PROCESSING

HotBell.shop is intended for a general adult purchasing audience.

HotBell Server Alerts is intended for authorized adult operators.

HotBell does not knowingly collect personal information through these services from children under 13 in circumstances prohibited by applicable law.

If you believe a child has improperly provided personal information to HotBell, contact HotBell so the matter can be investigated and appropriate action taken.

Additional regional protections apply where required.

Automated Processing and AI

HotBell may use software to assist routine administration, analytics, fraud prevention, security, and customer support.

Any use of artificial intelligence involving personal information must remain within applicable purposes, contractual restrictions, security requirements, and provider limitations.

HotBell does not authorize independent model training using SMS opt-in consent information.

If HotBell uses automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects and applicable law requires specific notice, rights, explanation, opt-out, lawful basis, or human review, HotBell will provide the legally required protections.

13. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

HotBell may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

HotBell will update the Effective Date or Last Updated date where appropriate.

HotBell will provide additional notice or obtain additional consent where required by applicable law.

Changes do not retroactively expand SMS consent or authorize materially incompatible uses of previously collected personal information without any additional consent required by law.
